Senior Executive – RNS

Role Profile

The Regulatory News Service (RNS) is the leading specialist provider of regulatory news distribution to UK

listed companies and unlisted companies, giving them power to communicate with an international audience

and fulfil their regulatory obligations.

The candidate will help RNS clients meet regulatory obligations by processing announcements within

departmental guidelines whilst performing exemplary editorial checks. The candidate is also required to

provide guidance on regulatory issues, technology and international distribution. Key clients include PR

agencies, investment banks, regulators, listed companies and other financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

Process announcements by applying editorial checks to identify compliance with FCA regulation and

Assist RNS clients to fulfil dual regulatory obligations in multiple jurisdictions.

Support clients in accessing and efficiently using the submission platform.

Provide regulatory advice to clients for announcements based on FCA rules.

Answer telephone and email queries in a professional manner which correspond to LSEG guidelines.

Use expert knowledge of the RNS service to provide product information and support customers whenever

Support key account relationship managers in testing complex documents for multiple platforms.

Candidate Profile

Intermediary level degree or diploma in Business Management/Administration or Banking.

Minimum 2 years of experience in Banking, Customer Service, or Operations.

Ability to work flexible UK hours/shift patterns (24 hour shifts) to cover operational requirements and
unplanned team absence.

Excellent verbal interpersonal and communication skills that are well structured, persuasive, clear, concise
and are based on fact.

Thorough knowledge in Microsoft Office packages.

Experience in dealing with overseas based clients would be an added advantage.

Experience with tasks which require attention to detail whilst delivering results on a timely manner.

Planning and prioritising according to business needs is desired.

Strong written and communication skills with the ability to apply principles to multiple scenarios.

Ability to manage time productively to meet personal goals and project deadlines.

Confident, self-driven and regularly demonstrates the ability to multi-task.
